White Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a perfect cookie to pack in a lunch or to eat as an afternoon snack with a tall glass of cold milk.

White Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, soft
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs

1-16 oz package white chocolate chips
1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped

Beat butter and sugars.  Add eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.  Add to butter mixture.

Stir in the white chocolate chips and toasted walnuts. (To toast walnuts place them on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven for about 3 minutes)

Spoon dough onto a prepared cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.

Bake 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes.  (These are best slightly undercooked)
