Cupcake #6 - Chocolate Bar Cupcakes
18 vanilla cupcakes (or chocolate for extra chocolate flavor)
1 tub of vanilla frosting (or chocolate for extra chocolate flavor)
1 small bar of chocolate (like Ghiradelli)
chocolate chips (if desired)
In a small bowl combine vanilla frosting with about 3 tablespoons of Nutella.
Using a butter knife frost all of the cupcakes.
Melt a small amount of chocolate (or put a small amount of Nutella in the microwave for 10 seconds). Drizzle the chocolate (or Nutella) over the tops of each cupcake.
Unwrap the chocolate bar and use a vegetable peeler on the chocolate to create tiny curls. Let the curls fall on the tops of the cupcakes.
If desired, place a chocolate chip on top.
Alternate option: Use chopped peanut butter cups on top instead of the chocolate bar. Add a few spoonfuls of peanut butter to chocolate frosting before icing the cupcakes.
