White Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is a perfect cookie to pack in a lunch or to eat as an afternoon snack with a tall glass of cold milk.
White Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, soft
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1-16 oz package white chocolate chips
1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
Beat butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture.
Stir in the white chocolate chips and toasted walnuts. (To toast walnuts place them on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven for about 3 minutes)
Spoon dough onto a prepared cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes. (These are best slightly undercooked)
